Rachael (Nightgirl) singer, songwriter, drums, keys, flute, has been performing since 2012 under the band name Adventures of Nightgirl, featuring guest rappers, saxophones and trombones. ​

Inspired by the likes of Morcheeba, Tori Amos, Fiona Apple, Bjork, Etta James and Cat Power, Rachael favours minor chords and vocal hooks. Her music is captivating, her stories speak of love, passion, conviction, and anger, delivered with down tempo reverbs and sadistically sweet soaring vocals.

 

Rachael currently performs with UR LOVE (Conner Wright) in a soulful duo. Funky instrumentals, flute solos, harmonies and Conner's upbeat vocals encourage a warm connection with the crowd.
